He looks like a rock and roll star. Seriously. Even from within a crowd surrounded by his family, he still looks he came from an era so far away, and so enlightened, that you can’t mistake him for who and what he stands for within milliseconds. It doesn’t matter if you know his name. It honestly doesn’t matter if he is rich or not, if he is famous or not. He is what he is, and if you get a glimpse of the aura, then your one step closer to what mankind searches for his entire life.
The meaning of life in other words.
What is that meaning?
It’s very complicated but I will make it very simple. It is the quest for total serenity and Godlike forgiveness, a knowledge and deep love for what one has accomplished, and at peace with everyone around him. Lastly, it is the ability to help people grow from your knowledge and to help from the bottom of your heart, everyone who honestly seeks your wisdom. There is more, but that is for another time.
How many people do you get to interview like this?
Quite a few, and I thank my luck for that, because this way you actually have a state of mind of where you want to be when you are past 55 or 60.
If it was not for people like Roy, well, many things in my lifetime would not exist, and the funniest thing about it all, is that, even though he has already touched my life in ways he cannot imagine, I meet him in person and it makes everything else, the 40 year history of his REGA empire, seem like it is not enough to describe the persona behind the wheel.

I will not get into the history of Rega turntables, or as a matter of fact of any product, but what I will admit is that my own father used them, I used them, my mother used them, and generations, and I do mean this, millions of people seized moments in life when they couldn’t have anywhere else from his astonishing tone arms and turntables.
Billions of thoughts, emotions and pure pleasure from his work are giving more enjoyment that any other company I can think of in the industry.
It would not be a hyperbole if I were to say that Roy is one of the most charismatic producers of any object made in the past 40 years. Including any space station, you can think of. After all, how many people get what they get from listening to albums than any other product they own?

I can almost bet that during his era, which continues today, more than a few million people were actually conceived while listening to a Rega. Take a moment and think about that! How may decisions were made, how many moments of any man’s life, has passed, with a Rega on. And if that is not enough, imagine about the entire industry of TT which occurred because of his passion and creations.
It was the one to beat and the products were, and are, the basis for which the actual entire high end industry hinges from!
Too much hype? You could think I am being paid from anyone for this, because if you think any of the above, then I simply have not done what I have come here to do as an article writer on hiendnews.
So let’s keep it simple.
I dare any reader to tell me that I have made any comments which are not absolutely 100% true.
Good, now that that’s over with, let us wait for the second part of this article, and a more in-depth feeling of where the company seems to be going, how it has succeeded when no other did, and who in the world is fuelling this company with energy, to be so alive, after most people in any industry would have been bought out, have totally changed ownership, or even put on the stock market to get the pay-out they could get.
This and SO MUCH MORE, when we all sit back and comprehend, instil, and gather our thoughts on the previous written tonight, we will then be ready to go to the next level of what I call Quantum Roys.
